Membership Program
Requirements
- Annual membership dues ($25).
- Membership is for a given calendar year (January 1 – December 31).
- Memberships starting in the fourth quarter of a calendar year are effective until the end of the following calendar year. For example, dues paid on October 1, 2018, are paid through December 31, 2019.
- If the ability to pay membership dues is a barrier, the Lead Pack will provide options.
Benefits
Events
- Invitations to both public and private events
- Guaranteed lower-cost entry to NSKC-hosted events than for non-members.
- Members who volunteer at three or more events per year will be recognized at the Annual Meeting with an award and pin.
Swag
- One personalized dog tag with membership number.
- Ability to purchase Welcome Kit ($10) at the time of sign-up. The Welcome Kit includes:
- one NSKC membership pin
- one small NSKC membership patch
- one NSKC friendship pin (for friends of the club)
- After each five years of membership, a tenure pin will be awarded at the following Annual Meeting.
Lead Pack
- Voting in Lead Pack elections.
- Eligibility to run in Lead Pack elections after six months of membership.
