SUMMARY:October 2018 Public Mosh
DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to host our October public mosh. This is a public event and is open to all. \nThis event is free to full and associate members. A $5 donation is requested but not required from non-members. \nThe pup community has grown out of the leather community and we come together to celebrate and play. However\, human-pup role-play has taken on its own identity with its entry level being low and non-threatening\, energizing and rewarding\, with treats and toys and no small talk required. Many find it therapeutic. \nCome join us! Find out what we’re about. Maybe take off your shoes\, get down on your knees and pup out. You don’t need gear\, just an open mind. \n5-6 social and setup\n6-8 mosh\n8-9 clean up \nNorth Star Kennel Club is group of human-pups\, handlers\, and people curious about pup play in Minnesota and the Midwest. We are based out of Minneapolis and strive to educate people about pup play and provide a comfortable\, accessible\, and safe place to enjoy it.

SUMMARY:Pawlympics - The Puppy Play Space at Iowa Leather Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to once again co-sponsor the puppy play space at Iowa Leather Weekend. We hope you will join us along with the Chicago Puppy Patrol\, Badger-PAH\, IA-PAH\, and NE-PAH in an expanded play space for 2018! \nThere will be a Pawlympics during the final two hours of the event\, much as what happened in Des Moines last March. Here are the details: \n\n\nEvent #1\, Hedgie Hunt – This was an event as the winter games but this time there are twice as many balls in the ball pit. 2-3 players per team.\n\n\n\n\nEvent #2\, Dick Darts – Think lawn darts but with dildoes. 2-3 players per team.\n\n\n\n\nEvent #3\, Top Trick – The event Barker will give a silly trick command and one person from each team will perform it. Judged on time or quality of performance by rufferees. Each pup on the team will have a turn for this one.\n\n\n\nThe times and scores from all events are cumulative. Each participating puppy/handler group is contributing $50 to a buy-in pot. The highest scoring team will choose which charity they want to donate the pot to.\n\nCome out and cheer for NSKC members as they compete!
