SUMMARY:Membership Appreciation Camping Trip
DESCRIPTION:NORTH STAR KENNEL CLUB \nMembership Appreciation Camping Trip \nHello pets\, critters\, and people. We would like to invite you to the 2026 membership appreciation event. This year we will be doing a camping trip at Wild River State Park https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/park.html?id=spk00254#homepage . This is for current members in good standing with the club. Meaning you must have your dues paid. RSVPs will close on July 5th so please make sure you plan accordingly. The camping trip will be from August 7th to August 9th. We will check in at 5pm (you can come later if you need to up until 10pm) and will need to be cleaned up and gone by 11am. North Star will provide breakfast and dinner on Saturday only. You will need to provide your own snacks\, food and beverages. There are charcoal/wood fire grills for you to use. You will need to bring your own cooking utensils and pans. Firewood can be purchased at the ranger station or in town at the gas station. For those of you driving you will need to get a park pass for your vehicle. These can be obtained on the website. We highly encourage you all to carpool as many as you can fit in your vehicle. This is a tent camp site only. You will need to provide your own camping equipment\, i.e.: tent\, sleeping bag\, mattress\, personal need items. There is no electricity\, but we can bring generators or power packs. There is a hand pump for water and a vault toilet. Showers are down the road a bit and available to use. Cigarette smoking is allowed in the park. Alcohol is not allowed. State laws apply to possession and use of weed.
