This event slightly resembles a drag contest\, if you squint. Hosted by Slaymantha Fox. \nJoin us for a night of spectacle as you see people who you’d never expect in drag – in drag! Watch as they strut\, stumble\, and stagger all over the stage while trying to remember the words to their songs. \nThe winners are determined partly by their tips. \nPast winners have included Michael Kramer\, Heidi Jensen\, Karri Plowman\, Derek Harley\, and Curtis Linz. \n\nAll proceeds for the evening go to Minnesota Leather Pride Weekend.

DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to once again co-sponsor the puppy play space at Iowa Leather Weekend. We hope you will join us along with the Chicago Puppy Patrol\, Badger-PAH\, IA-PAH\, and NE-PAH in an expanded play space for 2018! \nThere will be a Pawlympics during the final two hours of the event\, much as what happened in Des Moines last March. Here are the details: \n\n\nEvent #1\, Hedgie Hunt – This was an event as the winter games but this time there are twice as many balls in the ball pit. 2-3 players per team.\n\n\n\n\nEvent #2\, Dick Darts – Think lawn darts but with dildoes. 2-3 players per team.\n\n\n\n\nEvent #3\, Top Trick – The event Barker will give a silly trick command and one person from each team will perform it. Judged on time or quality of performance by rufferees. Each pup on the team will have a turn for this one.\n\n\n\nThe times and scores from all events are cumulative. Each participating puppy/handler group is contributing $50 to a buy-in pot. The highest scoring team will choose which charity they want to donate the pot to.\n\nCome out and cheer for NSKC members as they compete! DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to host our Monthly Mosh at Best in Show Weekend. This is a public event and is open to those 18+. \nThis event is free to full and associate members. A $5 donation is requested but not required of non-members. \nBest in Show Weekend is a charity event weekend being produced by the Twin Cities Puppy Pack\, celebrating the first anniversary of their founding. Their proceeds will be going to the Animal Humane Society. \nThe pup community has grown out of the leather community and we come together to celebrate and play. However\, human-pup role-play has taken on its own identity with its entry level being low and non-threatening\, energizing and rewarding\, with treats and toys and no small talk required. Many find it therapeutic. \nCome join us! Find out what we’re about. Maybe take off your shoes\, get down on your knees and pup out. You don’t need gear\, just an open mind. \n1:00-2:00 p.m. social and setup\n2:00-4:00 p.m. mosh\n4:00-5:00 p.m. social and cleanup \nNorth Star Kennel Club is group of human-pups\, handlers\, and people curious about pup play in Minnesota and the Midwest. SUMMARY:Atons Camp Out 2018
DESCRIPTION:For over 30 years the Atons held our annual Runs and Camp Outs in state parks\, with the occasional return to the city for unique hotel based runs. After taking a few years away from the parks to try other venues\, we are returning to Minnesota’s beautiful state parks for our 2018 Camp Out. \nActivities\nAtons Camp Outs are somewhat more laid back compared to our runs. We are planning meals\, games\, class\, discussion\, play spaces\, and other events over the weekend. There are also nature trails nearby. Finding a nice shady spot to read a book or reconnecting with old friends are also options. For those who want to play\, we will have dungeon and play spaces available. You are welcome to bring equipment\, but please contact us if your equipment is large and might need special accommodations. 😉 \nWhat’s Included\nThe Camp Out fee includes meals Friday night\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, and refreshments. Lodging is included this year. \nDirections\nDirections to the park\, maps\, and other background information will be included in the confirmation letter from the Atons sent in early July. Transportation from the Twin Cities area to the campsite may be negotiated with other Camp Out attendees.
