DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is partnering with the Minneapolis Movie Bears for a summer voyage down the Cannon River. \nTube rentals are $11 (this includes a $1 discount). We will also get our cooler tubes free (a savings of another $12). Let them know you are with the Bear Group. You can bring your own cooler tube. \nPlease be prepared to pay with cash or in-state check. \nGlass bottles and containers\, styrofoam coolers\, kegs\, beer bongs\, and beads are not allowed on the river. Please help us keep the water clean by putting all trash in coolers or plastic bags. \nThe rain date for this event is Saturday\, August 4.

SUMMARY:Atons Camp Out 2018
DESCRIPTION:For over 30 years the Atons held our annual Runs and Camp Outs in state parks\, with the occasional return to the city for unique hotel based runs. After taking a few years away from the parks to try other venues\, we are returning to Minnesota’s beautiful state parks for our 2018 Camp Out. \nActivities\nAtons Camp Outs are somewhat more laid back compared to our runs. We are planning meals\, games\, class\, discussion\, play spaces\, and other events over the weekend. There are also nature trails nearby. Finding a nice shady spot to read a book or reconnecting with old friends are also options. For those who want to play\, we will have dungeon and play spaces available. You are welcome to bring equipment\, but please contact us if your equipment is large and might need special accommodations. 😉 \nWhat’s Included\nThe Camp Out fee includes meals Friday night\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, and refreshments. Lodging is included this year. \nDirections\nDirections to the park\, maps\, and other background information will be included in the confirmation letter from the Atons sent in early July. Transportation from the Twin Cities area to the campsite may be negotiated with other Camp Out attendees. (If you are familiar with the Knights of Leather Tournament\, then you are familiar with our campsite.) \nSocial Hours\nIf you would like to host a social hour or cocktail party\, or are willing to help out in any other way\, please contact Ken at campout@atons.net\, or call the Atons Hotline\, 612-562-8667. \nOther Information\nNo pets\, non-prescription drugs\, or public nudity are allowed\, by state park rules.

DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to host our June public mosh. This is a public event and is open to all. \nThis event is free to full and associate members. A $5 donation is requested but not required from non-members. \nThe pup community has grown out of the leather community and we come together to celebrate and play. However\, human-pup role-play has taken on its own identity with its entry level being low and non-threatening\, energizing and rewarding\, with treats and toys and no small talk required. Many find it therapeutic. \nCome join us! Find out what we’re about. Maybe take off your shoes\, get down on your knees and pup out. You don’t need gear\, just an open mind. \n1-2 social and setup\n2-4 mosh\n4-5 clean up \nNorth Star Kennel Club is group of human-pups\, handlers\, and people curious about pup play in Minnesota and the Midwest. We are based out of Minneapolis and strive to educate people about pup play and provide a comfortable\, accessible\, and safe place to enjoy it.
