SUMMARY:January 2020 Public Mosh
DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club is proud to host our January public mosh. This is a public event and is open to all. \nThis event is free to NSKC members. A $5 donation is requested but not required from non-members. \nThe pup community has grown out of the leather community and we come together to celebrate and play. However\, human-pup role-play has taken on its own identity with its entry level being low and non-threatening\, energizing and rewarding\, with treats and toys and no small talk required. Many find it therapeutic. \nCome join us! Find out what we’re about. Maybe take off your shoes\, get down on your knees and pup out. You don’t need gear\, just an open mind. \n1-2 social and setup\n2-4 mosh\n4-5 clean up \nNorth Star Kennel Club is group of human-pups\, handlers\, and people curious about pup play in Minnesota and the Midwest. We are based out of Minneapolis and strive to educate people about pup play and provide a comfortable\, accessible\, and safe place to enjoy it.

SUMMARY:Catastrophe 2020: All Stars?
DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 7\, show begins at 7:30. No admission. \nMinneapolis has one of the most amazing drag scenes in the US\, this is not an event to showcase that. This event is about showing us what the non-drag performers of our community can do with a little paint and a lot of courage. \nMinnesota Leather Pride and The Saloon are embarrassed to present Catastrophe 2020! This event slightly resembles a drag contest\, if you squint. This year we’re welcoming back some of your “favorite” past performers\, and hosted by Slaymantha Fox. \nJoin us for a night of spectacle as you see people who you’d never expect to see in drag\, again! Watch as they strut\, stumble\, and stagger all over the stage while trying to remember the words to their songs. \nThe winners are determined partly by their tips. \nProceeds for the evening go to Minnesota Leather Pride Weekend.

DESCRIPTION:The North Star Kennel Club’s Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday\, January 25\, 2020 at The Saloon from 2-4pm in the Fire Bar. During the meeting we will deliver a review of the past year and provide time for members to share their thoughts\, concerns\, and hopes for the Club in 2020. If there are contested Lead Pack elections\, those will be completed and announced at this meeting. \nFollowing the Annual Meeting\, the new Lead Pack will hold a brief organizing meeting to elect officers (Chair\, Vice Chair\, Treasurer\, and Secretary)\, designate committee chairs\, and set the meeting calendar for 2020. \nPlease contact the Chair\, Pup Minutes\, if you have any questions.
